The global pandemic as a result of Covid-19 has led most of us into isolation. As a result, a huge portion of Nepal’s population is feeling stressed life, because they have been limited to the four walls of their homes.
In this difficult moment in time, I was fortunate enough to attend the webinar on Mental Health and Well-being run by Unity in Health’s Art Therapist Lajja Dixit.
Ms Dixit helped me realized that even small things can bring a smile to our face and keep depressive thoughts at bay. I learned that coping with each and every difficult situation in our life makes us stronger. The webinar was indelible and the technique of expressing via art and sketch was really effective. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms Dixit and the IOF Pokhara family for realizing the necessity of mental well-being for the students and for providing this wonderful opportunity to me.
