Suicide prevention posters distributed across Ilam mountain health posts

Jaya Mental Health’s suicide prevention posters are now up on the walls of several health posts located on the mountains of Eastern Nepal. Sometimes images do speak louder than words. In a region where suicide is the leading cause of death among women of working age, our priority is to help local communities to address this tragic statistic.
