On the 14th November, our team had the privilege of joining the Gurkha Health Camp — a brilliant opportunity for Jaya to highlight its growing work in mental health across South Asia.
Throughout the day we offered free, walk-in counselling support, creating a calm, safe space for anyone wishing to speak one-to-one. Even with an improvised setup, the response was incredible and the impact immediate. It was a powerful reminder of how much people value being heard, supported, and understood.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to the organisers for opening the door to conversations that matter. Moments like these reinforce why accessible mental health care needs to be part of every community initiative in South Asia.
