Happy International Nurses Day! The theme this year is ‘Our Nurses, Our future. The economic power of care’.

As a nurse-led charity, we stand alongside our nursing colleagues to highlight the importance of investing in nursing and how this can bring considerable economic and societal benefits.

The COVID 19 crisis highlighted how fragile some health systems are and how nurses are at the frontline of those systems, but are often underpaid and undervalued.

Nurses are the backbone of healthcare systems and given the opportunity, can shape, influence and lead healthcare services.
